National Doughnut Day is just around the corner on June 7 and Krispy Kreme will be offering one free doughnut of any flavor to guests in the United States and in Canada, the company said in a statement.
National Doughnut Day was established in 1938 by The Salvation Army to raise funds for people in need during the depression, and is observed every year on the first Friday of June. Krispy Kreme said no purchase is necessary in order to qualify for the free doughnut.
Krispy Kreme can be found at over 740 locations in 22 countries around the world and approximately 10,000 grocery, convenience and mass merchant stores in the U.S. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc.
