Amazon's Prime Now's Delivery Service Available in Seattle, Offers Liquor Delivery

Amazon.com, Inc's Prime Now, the mobile application exclusively available to members of Amazon Prime, is now available to residents of Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland, according to a press release issued by Amazon.

Residents in these cities can now enjoy Amazon's one-hour delivery on tens of thousands of items, which now include wine and beer.

Stephanie Landry, director of Amazon's Prime Now Service, said in the press release that they are "excited to bring Prime Now" to customers in Seattle, Amazon's hometown, and its surrounding area.

"Customers love the convenience of one-hour delivery," she said. "With Prime Now, you can skip a trip to the store and get the items you need, delivered right to your door in under an hour."

Rapid News Network adds that a spokeswoman from Amazon told them that the company has opened two facilities in Seattle and Kirkland.

The new facilities will be handling the delivery service of Prime Now in the area.

The expansion of Prime Now's delivery locations also offered new items for delivery, according to Rapid News Network.

Wine, beer, and a small selection of spirits can now be delivered through Prime Now.

Select zip codes in Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland will get to enjoy Prime Now, which began on Aug. 25, according to the press release.

The service is rapidly expanding to add additional zip codes in the area.

Prime members can download the Prime Now app, available in iOS and Android devices, to get updates on when the delivery service will be available in their areas, according to the press release.

Prime Now is exclusively available to members of Amazon Prime.

Residents of Seattle and its surrounding areas can enjoy Amazon Prime Now's delivery service from 8 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week, according to the press release.

Two-hour delivery service is free and the one-hour delivery service is available for $7.99.
