There were rumors coming out that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are dating again just because they were seen hanging out lately.
However, the 23-year-old singer denied that she's in a relationship with the 21-year-old pop star and revealed that they are just good friends.
"She has no interest in dating him," an insider told PEOPLE. "There's nothing going on with them romantically at all." Selena has experienced many heartaches and being chased by the paparazzi when she was with Justin, but the songstress didn't regret her relationship with the Canadian musician.
"I didn't think I was doing anything bad by falling in love," the Latina beauty confessed to The Sunday Times. "There's such an emphasis on people being the perfect thing and then destroying them because it's good press. Also throw in the fact that you are a teenager - it makes it more difficult," she added.
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber started dating when she was only 19 while he was just 17 years old so both were still very young and immature.
Jelena fans still wanted the former lovers to get back together and the "Heart Wants What It Wants" hitmaker is aware of that.
"It's difficult for people to separate us. The internet wants to freeze this moment in time and constantly repeat it," she said.
The former Disney star has been in the same situation before when she dated Nick Jonas, who was her first boyfriend. According to Mail Online, Selena admitted that both of them wore purity rings as a sign of abstaining from sex before marriage. "I'm not embarrassed to say that. I'm also not embarrassed to say that the ring has come off," she told ST Style.
The "Spring Breakers" actress revealed how she coped up with the heartbreak.
"Sometimes you have to lie to yourself to get through the criticism, and then you're in your closet crying," Selena explained. "It's been like that for me a couple of times, but I only want to learn from those things."
It seems that Selena Gomez is finally over Justin Bieber and Nick Jonas as she hinted that she's ready to fall in love again.
"The next relationship will be something dear to me," she confessed. "There is no way I will ever hide my life."
