There were rumors coming out that the real reason for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's divorce is their children's former nanny Christine Ouzounian.
According to Us Weekly, the couple had a 10-month trial separation and the actor had an affair with the 28-year-old nanny during that time.
"They would hang out without the kids," Christine's pal revealed. "And they were very flirty."
The star of "Gone Girl" denied the cheating accusations despite the photos and revelations made by sources close to the nanny.
Ben Affleck's secret rendezvous with Christine Ouzounian was finally exposed and they may have even used his close friend Tom Brady to cover-up their love affair.
Pagesix recently shared a photo of the former nanny sitting inside a jet plane and wearing the football player's Super Bowl rings.
"She is clearly relaxed, kicking off her shoes and striking a sexy pose on her seat," the website reported.
Three days after that photo was taken, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner filed for a divorce.
According to Hollywood Life, Christine was in the Bahamas with Ben and his wife together with their three children when he decided to go on a secret rendezvous with the nanny.
"Ben asked Christina if she wanted to fly back to Los Angeles with him from the Bahamas. He assured her it was OK. Technically, he was her boss, not Jen," the insider revealed.
"But along the way, he convinced her to go to Las Vegas with him for his poker tournament. They even stopped and picked up Tom Brady for the trip. While in Vegas, Ben hid Christine the entire time," their source added.
Unfortunately, Jen found out about their secret trip and flipped out.
"She fired Christine right away and Ben did nothing about it," the insider revealed.
Christine Ouzounian was upset and is planning to sue Jennifer Garner for wrongful termination. Despite the allegations, the actor remained firm that he didn't have an affair with the nanny.
"Ben is absolutely not dating anyone. There is nothing physical or romantic between Ben and Christine," an insider told E! Online.
