Now that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have filed for a divorce, many people are wondering what the real reason was for their breakup.
There were reports coming out that it was the 42-year-old actor's infidelity that resulted in their split up. But who was the other woman? It was none other than their own nanny.
According to US Weekly, the "Gone Girl" actor got romantically linked to Christine Ouzounian during his 10-month trial separation from the 43-year-old actress.
"They would hang out without the kids," a source close to the nanny revealed. "And they were very flirty."
When Jennifer Garner discovered that her husband was cheating on her, she fired the nanny right away but the two remained in touch with each other.
In fact, it seems that the divorce was planned because Christine Ouzounian has been telling her friends that they will get married once Ben Affleck's divorce got finalized.
"She thinks they're meant to be together," an insider told NY Daily News. "She says that it's perfect because the kids love her."
The actor's representative claims that the cheating rumors aren't true but photos of the two leaked online. There was even a photo of Christine handing over what appears to be a box of champagne to Ben. That picture was taken last month and they were even laughing.
The former nanny was even spotted staying in a hotel in Bel Air which allegedly was being paid by the actor.
"Christine is enjoying her hotel stay," an eyewitness told People. "She acts like she is on vacation. She has been spotted by the pool several times, the spa and Wolfgang Puck's restaurant. She seems relaxed and happy."
Ouzounian's close pal revealed that they are in touch with each other every day and he even got phones exclusive for each other.
Sources claim that Christine is not the kind of girl who would hook up with anyone. She believes that her relationship with Ben is real and that they are in love.
"She's a guys' girl in a way, but also very sweet - the opposite of Jen (Garner), basically," the insider said. "She's the kind of girl who wants to go get drinks and then watch sports and likes to party. She's really sarcastic."
Her friends also revealed that Ben Affleck is still hooking up with Christine Ouzounian.
"They are certainly still boning," their source confirmed.
