Hooters Super Bowl Competition: Free Year Supply of Chicken Wings

| By

Hooters announced Friday it will be running a promotion at all of its locations in the US on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3, by choosing one winner during the halftime who will receive a year-supply of free chicken wings.

Customers watching Super Bowl at its stores are invited to register to win 10 free wings per week for a year. There is no purchase necessary to enter, the company said in a statement.

Customers may only register to win at a Hooters location on Feb. 3 and must be present to win, except in Michigan and Ohio, where winners who are not present will be notified by the restaurant.

"For 30 years Hooters has been the ultimate destination for sports fans to gather and watch the post-season gridiron action," said Dave Henninger, chief marketing officer, Hooters of America. "Our restaurants are game day headquarters for our fans, so it only seems fitting to give away our world famous wings to a Hooters fan during the most significant football game of the year."

Hooters is also running a promotion for customers who are watching the Super Bowl from home. Anyone who orders a to-go order will be entered for a chance to win $10,000 and other prizes.

Each Hooters location will include one scratch card with every to-go order from now until Feb. 3, while supplies last. Instant win prizes also include free soft drinks, 10 percent off discount coupons for Hooters merchandise and free appetizers.
