It's been less than a month since Katy Perry and John Mayer were rumored to have split up and now the two are reportedly back together.
The 30-year-old pop star and the 37-year-old musician were spotted going on a vacation in Yellowstone National Park recently. According to witnesses, the two were head-over-heels in love.
Aside from nature-tripping, the on-again, off-again couple has been spotted at John's apartment.
"They're spending a lot of time at his house talking over their feelings and trying to see if they can make it work," a source told The Sun via Yahoo UK.
There were rumors coming out that Katy Perry and John Mayer never broke up, but someone told the press that they called it quits.
According to the website, that person is no other than Taylor Swift, who once dated the "XO" hitmaker. Is there still bad blood between the former lovers?
A few months ago, John Mayer shared his thoughts about "Paper Doll" which some people believe was a revenge song for Taylor Swift who did a song about him entitled "Dear John."
"I never said anything about it, but now I just go, 'Look, I can say the name Taylor Swift. She's an artist. I'm an artist. Let's just, everybody stop. Nobody's got an incurable cancer. We're rich people who get to live out our dreams. Let's just stop it,'" he said as reported by Us Weekly.
"I'm a musician who's bigger than one song or one record, so it's really about the longevity of all the work that goes together, and I'm just not interested in the things that won't last forever," the musician added. Could that be John Mayer's philosophy in love as well that's why he ditched Taylor Swift and have broken up with Katy Perry several times?
"The reason they have split in the past is because Katy gets busy," an insider told Radar Online. "John can't handle the lack of attention, and she can't handle the trust issues she has when she's so far away," their source explained. "So they've learned that it's better to just take a break when they can't be in the same place."
