Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson gained instant fame when they worked on the "Twilight" film series.
If there's someone that the former lovebirds have to be grateful for, then that is the producers of the movie. Before the 25-year-old actress became known as Bella Swan, she used to be child star having played alongside Jodie Foster in "Panic Room."
The 29-year-old British actor, on the other hand, was just a supporting character in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" before he landed the lead role of Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" movie series.
It's been more than three years since the last series was released and many Twihards are hoping to see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reunite in new movie.
During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "Twilight" producers Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen hinted that they may be working with the two Hollywood superstars again.
"We keep in touch with all of them in the way you keep in touch with actors who have busy lives and are half your age. Every half-year we catch up and try to find something else to work on together," Godfrey said.
He also praised the two actors for choosing their projects really well.
"They've each been really smart about the way they've followed up their 'Twilight' careers in that they've not jumped into big studio fare in general. They've chosen directors and movies based on the movie, not the size of the movie," Godfrey added.
Marty Bowen also praised Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson for taking a risk in their career.
"Every young actor who has success in one genre wants to immediately do something completely different," he explained. "I think trusting their instincts is the hardest thing to do. So often they do the thing they think they're supposed to do, as opposed to the thing they really want to do."
Now the question is if the producers will do another project with the former couple since they are more known for casting actors who are still making a name for themselves.
After making Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson famous, their next focus is on Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff in "Paper Towns."
