Fans who are waiting for "Gotham" season 2 release date probably feel better now after all the news from the recent San Diego Comic-Con which was attended by the Fox TV series' cast members.
There, Ben McKenzie, David Mazouz, Donal Logue, and the rest of the cast members sat down with fans to answer questions about the show's second season.
"Gotham" season 2 release date is September 21 and when that time comes, watch out because the city will only get worse. No, the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) is not the only one who will cause chaos. There are bigger players around and Det. Jim Gordon will surely have his hands full with all the villains who'd want to make their presence felt.
David Mazouz told in an interview with DC Comics News that villains will storm Gotham and the worse part of that is they are 10 times stronger and better than the current king of the city's underground, Oswald Cobblepot.
"The villains that we know in Batman are going to be the ones who take over Gotham. Penguin is at the threshold right now, but he's going to meet people who are ten times worse," Mazouz said.
"And because the threat of villains is going to be so immense, the heroes will really have to team up. So you'll see Bruce and Gordon team up a lot more. And because of that, Bruce will get out a lot more. Gordon is really going to start that mentorship we talked about. They're really going to start to become closer, and because of that Bruce will find himself more involved with the crime world."
Before that, Mazouz also confirmed "Gotham" season 2 will see the start of the journey of his character Bruce Wayne into becoming Batman.
He said Bruce has two persona, one is the vigilante and the second is the playboy persona. For second season, fans will get to see first is the latter.
"It's going to be through multiple things. Bruce Wayne has multiple personas. He has Batman persona, but he also his public playboy persona to fool everyone. And moving into season two, we'll see more of that second persona from Bruce."
