Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are both living a new life now with their respective partners, but some of their fans still hope to see their favorite film characters Edward Cullen and Bella Swan get back together in real life.
The former lovers first met on the set of "Twilight" and have become one of the most talked about couples in Hollywood because of their association with their characters. Twihards were crushed when the 29-year-old actor and the 25-year-old actress broke up. Kristen was caught cheating on Robert with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.
The British heartthrob gave America's sweetheart another chance, but it just didn't work out. A few years after Robert Pattinson's split up with Kristen Stewart, the actor finally had the courage to speak up about his experience doing the "Twilight" series films with his ex-girlfriend.
During an interview with Total Film (via The Inquisitr), Rob admitted that he had a hard time coping up with instant fame. "All my experience...I had no idea what was going on when 'Twilight' first started taking off. When we were doing interviews, I'd never done a press junket. I was like, 'What?' You just sit in a room and talk s*** for eight hours! I was telling jokes. Every day my manager was getting calls from the studio going, 'You have to tell him to shut up!' Also, I had nothing to lose," he said.
One of the highlights of the "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I," was Edward and Bella's sex scene. Kristen Stewart confessed that she and Robert Pattinson felt pressured doing that scene. "I only hate them when they're contrived. That's when it's grotesquely uncomfortable," she told Harper's Bazaar.
"On 'Twilight' we had to do the most epic sex scene of all time. It had to be transcendent and otherworldly, inhuman, better sex than you can possibly ever imagine, and we were like, 'How do we live up to that?'" the actress explained.
Most fans think that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had the best time of their life working on the "Twilight" series, but based on their experiences it seem that they had a difficult time.
