A few days ago, Kristen Stewart's mom Jules finally shared her thoughts about her daughter's relationship with Alicia Cargile and Robert Pattinson.
"I've met Kristen's new girlfriend, I like her. What's not to accept? She's a lovely girl," she told the Sunday Mirror.
The 55-year-old filmmaker also revealed the probable reason for the "Twilight" co-stars breakup.
"I'm very sad that Kristen and Robert didn't have a chance to be alone together, they had to have the whole world with them and all the public stuff ruined everything, life became overwhelming," she said.
After Jules Stewart's interview with Sunday Mirror came out, there were reports coming out that Kristen Stewart was saddened by what her mom did.
"It's very upsetting for Kristen because she hates having the spotlight on her personal life," an insider told Hollywood Life.
"She's been living a relatively anonymous life, at least when you compare it to what she went through with Rob, so this feels like a big step backwards. She can't wait for it to be over and for people to leave her alone again," their source added.
To clear things up, Jules Stewart decided to release a statement that she never said any of those things about her daughter.
"I spoke to Sharon Feinstein about my film K-11 that has been put on display in the Hollywood Museum. It's currently there under the LGBT banner on the third floor," she explained to Us Weekly.
"She also asked me about my views on gay rights, which I was happy to express. Then we talked briefly about the fundraiser I am hosting for TheWolfConnection.org. Never ever did we discuss Kristen!" she claimed.
However, the reporter insisted that what Jules Stewart stated about not talking about Kristen Stewart and her daughter's relationship with Alicia Cargile and Robert Pattinson were not true.
"That is simply incorrect. I have reported the story as discussed and memorialized during our lengthy and cordial formal interview, which took place on Thursday 11th June," Sharon Feinstein told Hollywood Life. "I am disappointed and saddened by her statements to the contrary. This was a very positive story and one told by a loving parent. Any statements to the contrary are simply not supported and not true."
