Thanksgiving Day is upon us and just in case dinner plans have fallen through or you're one of those late planners, many restaurants across the country will be open and are offering some special Thanksgiving meals.
Here is a list of restaurants open for Thanksgiving Day 2012:
Boston Market restaurants will be open Thanksgiving Day, offering dine in guests a complete holiday meal including roasted turkey breast with two home style sides, freshly baked cornbread and a slice of apple or pumpkin pie for $10.99. The chain is also offering Á la Carte items for carry-out.
At Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurants, you can celebrate an American tradition with an Italian twist. Buca's turkey feast for three people is $45. The large serves up to six people for $90. You can also add Buca's traditional pasta and top it all off with mini chocolate chip cannolis for dessert.
Buffets, Inc. restaurants (Ryan's, Hometown Buffet, Old Country Buffet, Country Buffet, Granny's Buffet, Fire Mountain) will be serving both lunch and dinner until 7 p.m. on Thursday. Special menu items that will be served all day until close include roast turkey, roast beef, ham and Rancher's Select Sirloin. Special menu prices vary per location.
Bugaboo Creek Steak House is opening at noon on Thanksgiving with a special menu featuring three appetizers: herb stuff portabella mushrooms, crab cakes and spinach dip. Butternut cranberry soup and French onion soup will also be available. Entrees include a roast turkey dinner, prime rib, bacon bleu cheese topped filet, grilled salmon and a kid's turkey dinner. There will also be a variety of side dishes available, as well.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store will offer a special Thanksgiving Day meal beginning at 11 am. Guests can enjoy a turkey n' dressing meal complete with baked ham, sweet potato casserole, cranberry relish, choice of vegetable, a beverage (milkshakes not included), and made-from-scratch biscuits or corn muffins, as well as a tasty slice of Pumpkin Pecan Streusel pie for dessert, all for 8.99 for adults and 4.69 for children. The child's meal does not include ham or sweet potato casserole and is served with a half slice of pie.
Denny's will be open, as always, and serving a Turkey and Dressing Dinner. Regular menu items will also be available.
Golden Corral is offering a Thanksgiving Day Buffet at participating locations. The buffet includes carved turkey, carved ham, fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, pot roast, meatloaf, sirloin steak, fried shrimp and much more.
Houlihan's guests can enjoy a roasted turkey dinner between 11 am and 9 pm on Thanksgiving Day. Dinner is served with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and cranberries. Adults are $17.99 and kids 12 and under are $9.99. Houlihan's full menu is also available.
Huddle House restaurants will be open serving everyday fan favorites.
IHOP restaurants are open Thanksgiving Day serving up everything their guests love about breakfast, all day. Also, many of the franchised stores will be open all night and through the next day for Black Friday shoppers even if not a usual 24 hour restaurant. Check your local IHOP for more details.
Select Lone Star Steakhouse locations will have a special Thanksgiving Day menu featuring Oven-Roasted Turkey with all the trimmings. Full menu also available. Check with your local Lone Star for more details.
Luby's will be open from 11am to 8pm, offering a home-cooked holiday meal for $10.99 dine-in or take-out. Luby's Thanksgiving Day special includes holiday entree, corn bread dressing, two holiday sides, a dinner roll and a holiday dessert.
Many Max & Erma's restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day, serving traditional home-style meals for $14.99 for adults and $7.99 for children. Participating locations will offer a special holiday feast that includes a choice of butternut squash soup or garden salad, succulent, slow-roasted turkey with all-you-can-eat side dishes. Max & Erma's regular menu featuring steaks, seafood, chicken, salads and sandwiches will also be available.
McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks is serving a Traditional Thanksgiving Feast at participating locations. The Roasted Turkey Dinner includes butternut squash bisque or walnut mixed greens, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread dressing, apple squash casserole, seasonal vegetables and cranberry sauce.
Mimi's Cafe, a French-inspired neighborhood bistro, launches two new holiday to-go offerings - Brunch Feast To-Go and Holiday Sides To-Go in addition to its popular and convenient Holiday Feast To-Go for home entertaining and Thanksgiving Day dining at Mimi's Cafe restaurants.
Mitchell's Fish Markets will be serving a 3-course meal between 1pm and 7pm. Guests can enjoy Oven-Roasted Turkey served with apple-herb stuffing with choice of starter, side and dessert. Adults are $24.99 and kids are $8.99. Full menu also available.
Ruth's Chris Steak House is celebrating Thanksgiving with a special three-course menu on Thursday, November 22nd for an average price of $35.95 per adult and $12.95 for children. Starters include choice of Seafood Gumbo Soup, Caesar Salad or Steak House Salad. For the main course, Ruth's Chris is offering slow-roasted sliced Turkey Breast served with homemade gravy, Ruth's sausage and herb stuffing and from-scratch cranberry relish.
Shoney's is offering a traditional Thanksgiving meal including turkey, fried chicken, macaroni & cheese, sweet potato casserole, collard greens and more. Kids 4 and under can receive a free buffet with adult meal purchase.

Ted's Montana Grill will be open and offering Ted's Traditional Roast Turkey dinner. For non-traditional guests, Ted's will be serving a choice of St. Phillip's Island Crab Cakes, Bison Pot Roast, Bison Meatloaf, Big Sky Grilled Salad, Cedar Plank Salmon, Ted's Filet and Delmonico Ribeye. Waffle House restaurants will be open, still serving 'em up scattered, smothered & covered.
All Whataburger restaurants will be open Thanksgiving Day. The family-owned chain has focused on its fresh, made-to-order burgers and friendly customer service since 1950 when Harmon Dobson opened the first Whataburger as a small roadside burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas.
