One of the most adored couples in Hollywood, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, has recently ended their marriage.
The couple released their official statement last week,
"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."
Rumors have been coming out as to why the 42-year-old actor and the 43-year old actress decided to call it quits after almost ten years of marriage.
One reason could be Jennifer Lopez, who was once engaged to Ben Affleck. According to The Sun, Jennifer Garner became concerned about his growing closeness to his ex-fiancée months before they split up.
"Everyone is talking about J-Lo and Ben and saying it's inevitable they will get together again at some point," one pal revealed. "We call them the Richard Burton and Liz Taylor of Hollywood." The "Batman V Superman" actor was spotted with the 45-year-old singer at the Academy Awards last February. "They were pretty flirty at the Oscars and have stayed in touch over email. Jennifer Garner never liked it," the insider said.
Amidst the rumors that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are reuniting, the "American Idol" judge was spotted going on a romantic getaway in The Hamptons with her ex-boyfriend Casper Smart.

There were rumors coming out that J.Lo and the 28-year-old dancer have reunited, but he insisted that they are just friends.
"Today it's just fun, just having a good time," Casper told Extra. "If we have anything to announce, we will let everybody know, we're just hanging out."
With regards to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez getting back together, there is a big chance that it could happen. During an interview with HuffPost Live (via E Online), "The Boy Next Door" actress admitted that she never regretted her relationship with the his "Gigli" co-star.
"I would do it all over again I think. I really would. Even the relationship part," she confessed. "I just feel like everything is part of your story and your journey and is meant to be and helps you grow if you're willing to look at it, and I'm willing to look."
