Amber Heard finally speaks up about the divorce rumors with her husband Johnny Depp. A few months ago, there were reports coming out that they are just faking their relationship.
"The couple is trying to appear happy by parading around hand-in-hand for the locals, but an on-set source says they couldn't be any further from the truth," an insider told Star Magazine.
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star and "The Danish Girl" actress tied the knot last February and divorce rumors have already started coming out. Before the two got married, Amber Heard got into a controversy when she confirmed that she's bisexual - having dated photographer Tasya van Ree in the past.
During an interview with The Times, Johnny Depp's wife aired out her feelings about how people judge her for being bisexual.
"I don't want to have to deny my sexuality in order to be me," Heard said. "But I don't want to have to be defined by it. I'm fundamentally opposed to trying to edit myself to be palatable or popular. I don't give a f***. I fight, but I shouldn't have to."
Amber admitted that she never thought that she would get married, but she had always loved who she had loved. "The Rum Diary" star also talked about her high-profile relationship with Johnny Depp.
"It's been a steady rise in exposure, pressure and accountability over the years. It ebbs and flows. It's life on the run," she said. "I always wanted to be a vagabond. I'm a gypsy now, living out of a suitcase, constantly on the road. I like the travel, but I don't like to fight to have anonymity."
In a separate interview with ELLE, Amber admitted that there's no dramatic change in her life when she got married to Johnny. "We've been together for a long time now, so it's been a fairly organic process. I have a fiercely independent spirit," she said. When asked about the divorce rumors with Johnny Depp, Amber Heard said: "I don't care. I'm a happily married woman."
