There have been rumors coming out that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are heading for a divorce. According to OK! magazine, the couple are just pretending that their marriage is fine.
"They hadn't been seen together in two months, and when people started noticing, Johnny realized they needed to present a united front, fast," their source revealed.
The 29-year-old actress finally speaks up about her marriage with the 52-year-old actor during an interview with ELLE. The "Rum Diaries" co-stars fell in love while filming this movie back in 2012. Despite the age gap, their relationship had grown into something more serious leading to a wedding early this year.
The magazine asked Amber Heard how her life was after marrying Johnny Depp. "Nothing is a dramatic change," she said. "We've been together for a long time now, so it's been a fairly organic process. I have a fiercely independent spirit."
Mirror magazine reported that despite getting married to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star, the "Magic Mike XXL" actress retained her maiden name in the showbiz industry. Amber Heard also wanted everyone to know that she's more than just a pretty face.
"I feel like I'm constantly fighting against my exterior, or this exterior presentation of myself because of how I look or perhaps because of who I'm with," she told ELLE. Before tying the knot with Johnny Depp, the blonde bombshell had dated actor Mark Wystrach and photographer Tasya van Ree in the past.
Despite the fame and relationships with well-known personalities, Amber Heard revealed the one thing that she feared the most which could be taken away when you're a celebrity.
"The thing that really scares me is the potential of losing my freedom," she confessed. "I never want for my life to lose the ability to transverse the world, with freedom and ease. The freedom and ease I have worked so hard to acquire for myself."
