Jelena fans are still hoping that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber will reunite, but that's unlikely to happen anytime soon.
According to new reports, the 22-year-old singer is totally over the 21-year-old recording artist. There are many incredible things happening in her life now and that's what she's focused on.
"Selena is doing incredibly well right now. She's super focused on her career and working hard every single day to take steps forward," an insider told Hollywood Life.
"She's been travelling non-stop, but it's okay because she is surrounded by good friends who she is working closely with. She has a little support group of friends and coworkers surrounding her, keeping her safe and on track."
The former child star has been spending a lot of time with her girlfriends and she enjoys posting photos of her BFFs on Instagram.
"I may post about them too much but it's because I love them too much," Gomez wrote. The Canadian pop star, on the other hand, has been busy sharing photos of his rumored girlfriend Hailey Baldwin on Instagram.
"There is rarely a mention of Justin in her life these days. He will always be part of her, but right now she's so focused on herself, she doesn't have time to dwell on the past," their source said. According to the website, Selena Gomez is currently working on her new album and fans can expect more breakup songs.
"Selena's written a lot more songs based on her personal experiences and heartbreaks," a separate source told Hollywood Life. "It was Taylor that she drew inspiration from in that sense, who told her that's something she should really focus on because it's what people, especially young female fans, can relate to."
Gomez and Swift have been friends for a long time so maybe she'll finally listen to her advice since the "Bad Blood" hitmaker has already proven that her breakup songs can turn into megahits. The source also confirmed that there will be songs about Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend.
"Selena has written about elements of her relationship with Justin [Bieber] on the new album," their insider said.
