The fall pumpkin flavors are everywhere from Starbucks to Dunkin' Donuts, but now even Burger King in Japan is entering the market with some of their own pumpkin-themed menu items.
Burger King Japan has introduced its very-own pumpkin burger called "BK Pumpkin", which contains two slices of kabocha (Japanese pumpkin), bacon, lettuce, a fried beef patty, and a creamy "nut sauce" of sesame seeds, peanuts, almonds, cashews, and hazelnuts, according to Burger King.
Burger King has two pumpkin-based burgers. Both burgers come with beef patties, fried kabocha pumpkin slices, bacon and lettuce. The difference between the two? Pumpkin Bomb has a whole bunch more pumpkin on it, ten slices in total.
The burger will be available for a limited time starting October 26 and will cost about $3.90. There's also a "pumpkin bomb" option which offers 10 slices of pumpkin for only about $1.25 more. Or, you can just order pumpkin slices as an optional topping for any burger for about $0.75.
Seasonal items are a huge trend in fast-food chain restaurants, so it is no surprise that Burger King Japan has come up with its own.
