The star-studded cast of "The Magnificent Seven" remake was revealed a few weeks ago; and many fans were thrilled to see some of the biggest names in Hollywood come together in one film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Momoa may join Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, and Vincent D'Onofrio in the reboot.

However, new reports revealed that the 35-year-old actor has ditched Antoine Fuqua's upcoming movie.

"Studio denies this but I'd heard Momoa just didn't have enough to do, and not much to say in the film," a source told Deadline. "He's been a man of few words in jobs like 'Game Of Thrones,' and he's actually got a lot to say. He's booked to play Aquaman, and I think that superhero talks to the fish," their insider further explained.

Apart from the solo movie of "Aquaman" which will be shown in 2018, Jason Momoa will also be very busy portraying the underwater superhero in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" (2016) and "The Justice League Part One" (2017).

"The Magnificent Seven" may have lost a good actor, but it may have finally gained a new villain. According to Deadline, Peter Sarsgaard is in final negotiations to play Bartholomew Bogue in the remake. His character is a robber baron whose hired thugs kill the husband of a woman who hires a group of mercenaries to take back the small town that has become the villain's stomping grounds.

One of the hottest actors in Hollywood is also confirmed to be joining "The Magnificent Seven" cast and that Matt Bomer. The 37-year-old actor is best known for portraying Bryce Larkin in "Chuck" and Neal Caffrey in "White Collar." The screen heartthrob can be seen next in "Magic Mike XXL" on July 8, 2015.

According to Venture Capital Post, Bomer will star as Haley Bennett's onscreen husband. "The Magnificent Seven" remake tells the tale of seven gunslingers of the West Side, who will save a Mexican village from rampaging bandits who are led by a robber baron. It is scheduled for release on January 2017.
