Kristen Stewart was nowhere to be found during the Met Gala, but her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson and his fiancée was present during the event.
That was the first time that the "Twilight" actor and the British singer walked the red carpet as a couple.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the 25-year-old actress has moved on from the 29-year-old actor but that doesn't mean she wanted to watch the newly-engaged couple make a huge spectacle on the red carpet.
"Kristen had already picked out a dress for the event and gave her glam team less than 24 hours notice that she had decided not to attend," their insider revealed. The website also revealed that the "Still Alice" star still feels bad about the relationship of her former lover to the 27-year-old musician even if she allegedly has a new girlfriend.
"Regardless of why Kristen Stewart skipped the Met Gala, one thing is for sure - it was probably for the best because the Twilight actress is still bitter over Robert and FKA Twigs's upcoming wedding," their source said. "The Rover" actor and the "Two Weeks" singer got engaged on February but the news only surfaced last April.
"He is telling people that he did it shortly before Valentine's Day," a source told Hollywood Life. "He was and is very secretive about it only telling a select few family and friends." In fact, even Kristen Stewart was not aware of Robert Pattinson's engagement to FKA Twigs. Fans of the new couple are now wondering when their wedding will be.
"They haven't set a date but friends and family have been told not to expect anything this year. It's going to be a long engagement," their insider revealed. Ever since Rob and Tahliah got engaged, the baby rumors started to come out.
According to VH1, the rumor started at Coachella where Twigs was spotted with a potential baby bump and wasn't seen drinking. Apart from that sighting, the singer's naked photo is also a proof that she could be pregnant.
"More speculations came this week when Karen Clarkson, Twigs' fashion director, posted a photo of the singer posing naked in the bathtub, hiding her midsection, in nothing but her engagement ring," an insider told Star Magazine. Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs haven't confirmed the pregnancy rumors yet, but in case they do, Kristen Stewart would most likely get affected by it based on her reaction when she found out that they were engaged.
