Twihards were hoping to see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reunite at the Met Gala, but that didn't happen. The 29-year-old actor walked the red carpet with his fiancée FKA Twigs and they really looked happy together.
The 25-year-old actress was nowhere to be found which started out rumors that she was trying to avoid her ex-boyfriend because she was still hurting.
Hollywood Life revealed the real reason why the "Still Alice" star wasn't able to make it to the event.
"Kristen would have attended the Met Ball if she didn't already have another commitment," their source said. "Rob going with Tahliah (FKA twigs) would not have stopped her at all. She's made peace with the past and has moved on."
It seems that Kristen Stewart has already moved on from Robert Pattinson. The "Twilight" co-stars started dating while doing the trilogy, but their relationship ended when the actress got involved in a scandal. They gave it another try, but things still didn't work between them. Maybe the love is already gone.
"The fact that Rob and Tahliah are engaged is no longer a trigger for Kristen," their insider revealed. "She really doesn't have a problem with her, at least not anymore. And she's not the least bit offended that Rob went to the Met Gala with Tahliah."
The British heartthrob and the 27-year-old singer haven't set a date yet for their wedding. According to reports, it is going to be a long engagement which means that anything could still happen along the way. However, Kristen may have finally found a new inspiration and that is her BFF Alicia Cargile.
There were even reports that the two are already living together in her apartment in Los Angeles. "Kristen and Alicia are not only living together, but they act like an old married couple," a source told Radar Online. The website also revealed the reason why the star of "Clouds of Sils Maria" enjoys the company of her rumored girlfriend.
"Very few people can actually get to know the real Kristen and that is how she likes it. But when Kristen is with Alicia, there are no walls around her," their insider said. "She not only acts like herself, but she is also incredibly genuine because Alicia brings out the best in her." It seems that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are both happy in their current relationship, but rumors still keep on linking the former lovers.
