| By

Jennifer Aniston has been in many "most beautiful" lists for many years now, but the actress will also always be famously known for her gorgeous hair, in particular "The Rachel" haircut that she sported while starring in "Friends."

Aniston now the spokesmodel and investor of a Massachusetts-based hair- product line, Living Proof.

"Over the years, my hair has been subjected to everything ... blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons, color, extensions, you name it. My hair has taken a serious beating," Aniston said in a statement. "After using these products, I felt like I finally discovered a solution that works every day. I could not be more excited to share Living Proof with the world."

Living Proof, which is currently available online as well as at high-end outlets such as Nordstorm and Sephora, was developed, in part, by Dr. Robert Langer, a professor at MIT.

Aniston says she was attracted to the product's science-based solutions to nagging beauty problems. "You want to be part of something that's exciting and authentic," she tells the Wall Street Journal. "You can't get more interesting than these scientists."

As part of the deal, Aniston will assist in development and marketing, and will collaborate with the brand's stylists and scientists on new product ideas. According to the Journal, the star was first sold on the 7-year-old line while filming in North Carolina and successfully using the frizz-fighting cream in the 100-percent humidity.

Aniston is also the spokesperson for Smartwater. She is currently engaged to actor Justin Theoroux whom she met on set of the movie "Wanderlust."
