Ariana Grande and Big Sean have recently confirmed their split up, but many people are still wondering what the real reason was for their breakup.
Some publications revealed that it was because of Justin Bieber's handsy on the songstress while others claim that it was due to Sean's dirty lyrics.
However, Us Weekly reported that the couple decided to call it quits so they can focus on their music first.
"They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year," an insider said.
Now that Ariana Grande and Big Sean have already split up, the two are free to date anyone they want. According to Hollywood Life, the 27-year-old rapper recently reached out to his ex-girlfriend Naya Rivera who is currently pregnant with Ryan Dorsey's baby. The 21-year-old singer, on the other hand, has been in close contact with her ex-boyfriend Nathan Sykes.
The Wanted member and the "Bang Bang" hitmaker dated for a few months in 2013. During an interview with Wonderwall, Nathan Sykes revealed the reason for his breakup with Ariana Grande. "It's like, when some things don't work out they don't work out," he explained. "Long distances and stuff like that. On different schedules and touring in different parts of the world. It's like sometimes it doesn't happen so easily."
The 22-year-old British singer also admitted that he isn't dating anyone right now, which gave fans hope that he will soon reunite with the former Nickelodeon star.
"I'm painfully single. So single it hurts," Nathan Sykes opened up. Last February, the boy band member decided to focus on his own music - and most of the songs on his first solo album are about his past relationships including the one with Ariana Grande.
"There's a couple of breakups that I write about and a few almost romances and what-not," he told MTV. "And there are a couple songs that talk about being in relationships as well, so it's going to be quite funny when people start to listen to the lyrics."
Nathan Sykes has a huge chance of reuniting with Ariana Grande because he doesn't get mad at his ex-girlfriends.
"I'm one of those really annoying people for exes, like, I don't hold grudges whatsoever," he admitted. "And I am one of the people who only takes really positive experiences from relationships and moves forward with it."
