Jamie Foxx Denies Katie Holmes Dating Rumors! ‘Annie’ Actor Explains The PDA Photo With Tom Cruise’s Ex-Wife! ‘I Guess They Are Trying To Get Money For Whatever’

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are rumored to be dating, but the actor claims that it isn't true. Last March, a photo of the "Annie" star and Tom Cruise's ex-wife leaked online and it showed the two holding hands and playing footsy.

That picture was actually taken at his home studio and he recently invited Nancy O'Dell of ET! there to listen to the latest song from his new album "Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses." The 47-year-old actor also tried to explain his PDA photo with Katie Holmes which started out the dating rumors again.

"The Amazing Spider-Man" actor insists that he is just friends with the "Miss Meadows" star. Foxx claims that James Van Der Beek, who was the love interest of Katie Holmes in "Dawson's Creek", was also present at the studio when that photo was taken. They were doing voice overs for "Amber Alert."

"I guess some knuckle head person who was here hit us with the phone cam," Jamie Foxx told Nancy O'Dell. "I guess they are trying to get money for whatever. It's amazing what people will do to sell you out." Us Weekly shared the rumored couple's photo online and claims that it was taken in February.

"Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with," a mutual friend revealed to the website. "She's getting everything from Jamie that she didn't get with Tom," their source added. They also reported that the singer already calls the 36-year-old actress "my girl" and he was even heard saying "my girl is calling."

This isn't the first time that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes were rumored to be dating. They were spotted flirting at the Hamptons all night, but the actor denied the rumors. "The rumors are 100 percent not true. In fact, it's quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people," he said.
