Quiznos, the sandwich franchise, announced Wednesday the appointment of Kenneth Cutshaw as the company's new president of International expansion.
Cutshaw resume includes working as the executive vice president and chief legal officer of Cajun Operating Company based in Atlanta, where he was responsible for the global expansion of Church's and Texas Chicken Brands as well as the management of legal affairs.
Cutshaw was also the chief compliance officer and president of Cajun Funding Corp.
"The international arena is one of our largest opportunities to grow the Quiznos brand. We have recently inked new development deals in Brazil to build nearly 150 restaurants, unveiled new locations in Asuncion, Paraguay, Mumbai, India and Manila, Philippines, and opened our fifth restaurant in the Dominican Republic which generated more than $26,000 in opening week sales," said Stuart Mathis, chief executive officer, Quiznos in a statement.
"Ken's extensive experience in global franchising and restaurant operations will be invaluable as we continue our international expansion and I am thrilled to welcome him to the team, Mathis added.
Cutshaw will bring his previous experience in the restaurant industry. He was co-founder of Cheers Funeatery, a founding partner of the Red, Hot & Blue (BBQ) restaurant chain, a co-founder of Let's Go Back, LLC, and a shareholder in Dressed Salads International of Hong Kong.
"Quiznos is poised to build on its remarkable success in markets around the world," said Cutshaw in the statement.
"Drawing from my passion for international business, as well as the knowledge I have amassed through visits to more than 60 countries, I am extremely excited to lead Quiznos in its continued global expansion."
