Now that Ariana Grande and Big Sean have officially split up, many fans are wondering what caused their breakup. There were rumors that it was Justin Bieber's flirty moves on the 21-year-old singer that got the 27-year-old pissed off, but his rep claims that it was not true.
According to Us Weekly, the couple decided to focus on their careers first. "They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year," their source revealed. Ariana and Big Sean will be touring separately until late this year so there could still be a chance for them to reunite after they've finished their tour.
After Ariana Grande and Big Sean confirm their split up, the "Bang Bang" hitmaker appeared fine and that allegedly got her ex-boyfriend pissed off. "He's really angry because when he broke up with Ariana, she didn't put up a fight," a source told Hollywood Life. "She pretty much told Big Sean that she's the one who wanted to break up."
The two started dating in October 2014 and can be seen packing the PDAs in almost every event including the recent Grammy Awards. Check out their adorable photos shared by MTV. They were even seen giggling and kissing each other on the red carpet last February that's why many people were shocked when they suddenly called it quits.
Latest reports revealed that it wasn't Big Sean that dumped Ariana Grande. According to TMZ, the "Break Free" singer felt degraded by her boyfriend's new track entitled "Stay Down" which indirectly mentioned her in the lyrics.
He rapped: "I ain't even gonna lie, I got a million dollar chick/ With a billion dollar p****y/ Every time I c*m, I swear to God I feel like I be rich." The website reported that Ariana's grandmother asked her about Big Sean's lyrics and that really embarrassed her. "Ariana felt humiliated because Sean was treating her like a piece of meat," their source said.
The Def Jam artist claims that the former Nickelodeon star made him pay for all their expenses, but sources close to the songstress revealed that she was the one who paid most of their bills including private flights and vacations.
