White Castle's Craver Nation grand prizewinner is William Seaquist of Staten Island, NY, the company said in a statement.
The 52-year-old borough resident has been named the grand-prize winner of White Castle’s Craver Nation sweepstakes. His price is a lifetime supply of chain’s famous slider hamburgers from his nearest White Castle restaurant - which happens to be at 2221 Hylan Blvd., Grant City.
The announcement will be made at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the press release.
Craver Nation is White Castle's new loyalty program that launched in May. All new "citizens" were automatically entered into the sweepstakes during the first month of the program.
Judy Handley of Powell, Ohio, is the first place winner. She receives a 50-inch LG 3-D TV with a Blu-ray player and a Bose T-20 Home Theatre system.
White Castle is giving additional prices which include 31 daily winners of an iPad 2 featuring the White Castle online order app, 25 bags of White Castle merchandise worth $50 and 100 new members received a $10 White Castle gift card.
"Our legion of loyal followers have embraced Craver Nation and the digital challenges to receive prizes," said Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle. "We want to give our cravers the chance to win White Castle products and other merchandise that fits their active lifestyles."
The company said that in less than four months, Craver Nation gained more than 115,000 new citizens who participate in daily challenges at www.cravernation.whitecastle.com. Through Aug. 31, new Craver Nation members will receive a coupon for two free Sliders or $1 off frozen product when they register to become a citizen.
