Wendy's is launching the nationwide Ultimate Baconator Challenge Tour to find bacon's biggest fans across the country and today they will make a stop in Cleaveland, Ohio.
The "Ultimate Baconator Challenge" makes a stop on Monday at Case Western Reserve University's Veale Center in Cleveland, Ohio from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wendy's team members will hand out free Sons of Baconator Cheeseburgers while supplies last. Bacon lovers can also enjoy a free Wendy's Frosty, gift cards and bacon-themed T-shirts and merchandise.
The Ultimate Baconator Challenge Tour will make its way across the country, stopping in 20 towns and tailgating at a handful of college football games. While on tour, Wendy's will give away more than 30,000 Son of Baconator sandwiches, as well as free samples of Wendy's Frosty, gift cards and bacon-themed T-shirts and merchandise.
The Son of Baconator was added to Wendy's menu in July and includes four strips of center-cut, Applewood Smoked Bacon, two 2.25-ounce patties of 100-percent North American beef, two slices of American cheese, ketchup and mayonnaise. It is served on a buttered, toasted bun.
In 2011, Wendy's introduced the Dave's Hot 'N Juicy Cheeseburger with the Hot 'N Juicy Tour of America.
