'The Flash' Episode Guide: Ray Palmer Wants Barry's Help, But For What? Find Out Here

| By

Central City will have a big time visitor. He is no other than Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) who have already appeared in "Arrow," the show where "The Flash" TV series was spun-off from.

This visit is somehow described by some fans as the mini third installment of "The Flash" "Arrow" crossover episodes the two CW Network shows did in early December last year. Ray's visit will take place at least eight weeks from now but that doesn't mean you can't have your advance "The Flash" episode guide for it.

Comicbookmovie.com has released the synopsis for the highly-anticipated episode to be called "All-Star Team Up." It said the episode will see Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and the rest of the STAR Labs interact with the bachelor billionaire as the latter ask for help on the suit he is developing. Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) will also be in the episode.

""Ray needs a little help with his [A.T.O.M.] suit, and who better than Felicity's high-tech guys at STAR Labs? It happens to come at a particularly bad moment for Barry. That's partially why we did it. The first episode with Felicity [Episode 4, "Going Rogue"], she really came along at a time when her experience in being part of a crime-fighting team definitely helped Barry overcome what he was facing that week. Similarly, when she comes, he's having a crisis of conscience that in some ways, only somebody like she can help him through."

It is unclear though whether Ray Palmer will become The Atom in this "The Flash" episode. In August last year as Palmer gets introduced in the show, showrunner Marc Guggenheim insisted they are not going to explore superpowers in the current season of "Arrow."

"We're not really planning on revisiting superpowers or enhanced abilities during season 3. We are really returning to the show's roots of a very grounded world where it's very realistic. We may take occasional artistic license with things, but for the most part, everything is pretty well and truly grounded in real-life things and real-life science," Palmer explained.
