Stewart is also having a hard time getting through to boyfriend Robert Pattinson. She is reportedly banned from appearing at his movie premiere Cosmopolis on Aug. 13 in New York.
"The decision was made because Robert just doesn't want to see her. There were fears that she could use it as a chance to talk to him in person and that sort of drama is not wanted at the premiere," source told website RadarOnline.
''There's also the fact that if she did attend, it would distract from the film premiere itself and the movie bosses are not interested in that sort of publicity. It's going to be Robert's first public appearance since the scandal broke - and they really want to make it less of a media circus than it already will be.''
This will also be his first public appearance since finding out Stewart cheated on him. Pattinson went into hiding at his Water for Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon's home.
Stewart and Robert Pattinson were last seen walking the carpet at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night. The couple met during the first Twilight film in 2008, and almost immediately, rumors began to make the rounds that they were romantically involved. They have remained mum on their relationship until now. The last installment of the Twilight film, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, is due in November.
