Jamba Juice Company opened a new franchise store at McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas, on Monday making its twenty-first store in an airport.
Jamba expects to have more than 30 outlets in operation within transportation centers, including airports, bus, and rail terminals, by the end of 2012, the company said in a statement. Jamba plans to develop 40 to 50 traditional and non-traditional locations within the U.S. and 10-15 international locations in 2012.
The location is open from 4:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. based on flight schedules. This store also offers a 10% discount for all military personnel in uniform, the company said in a statement.
Earlier last week, Jamba announced that it has rescheduled the release of its second quarter 2012 results and conference call to August 1, 2012 due to management schedules. The release of the Company's second quarter results and conference call were previously scheduled for Monday, August 6.
As of April 3, 2012, there were 773 store locations globally, consisting of 305 Company-owned and operated stores, 444 franchise-operated stores in the United States and 24 international stores.
