Robert Pattinson moved out of the home he shared with girlfriend Kristen Stewart when news revealed that the female "The Twilight Saga" star cheated with her married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, People confirmed on Thursday.
"I'm not sure they'll be able to recover from this," a source of the couple of three years told People magazine.
Pattinson left the home in Los Angeles that he shared with Stewart, People stated. A source said that Pattinson is "is heartbroken and angry" after what was revealed.
"Kristen really loves Rob more than anything," an insider told People. "He's all that matters to her right now."
Rumors are now surfacing that although both parties denied seeing each other prior to the July 17 incident in Los Angeles, Stewart and Sanders had been seeing each other for months, possibly even during promotion for the June release of "Snow White and the Huntsman," said People. A photo surfaced from May where the two were seen dining intimately in Berlin, Germany.
Sanders father Michael commented on the scandal and said that he didn't think the affair was a big fuss and that with two people working together, there was a chance of something happening between them.
"From what I gather nothing really happened and it is all a lot of fuss about nothing. I should imagine it was something very brief," Michael Sanders told People. "She is a very pretty girl and when you work that closely with someone for so long, sometimes things happen."
"He is very honorable, hardworking and [a] dedicated father and filmmaker," Michael Sanders continued. "Of course their relationship will survive this. This is nothing - they will definitely survive all of this. It is all a lot of fuss about nothing."
