Two new Red Mango frozen yogurt stores are set to open this month, including a location in Hicksville, N.Y., and Clarksville, Md.
The Red Mango location at Clarksville will be located at 6040 Daybreak Circle at River Hills Shopping Center, while the Hicksville chain will be at 366 West Old Country Road in the Hicksville Plaza, said press releases issued by Red Mango on Monday.
Shao Liu is the owner of the Clarksville Red Mango chain, which will open on Friday, July 27, and will host a grand opening celebration where free items will be given away, noted the press release.
During the Clarksville grand opening on Friday, residents of the area will get a free sample of a small frozen yogurt from the chain, with their choice of topping, and the first 100 customers will receive a free Red Mango T-shirt and other giveaways, said the press release.
"I believe Red Mango has superior products," Liu stated for the press release. "Red Mango truly stands in a class of its own and I am looking forward to serving this refreshing, healthy frozen yogurt."
Kimberly and Frank Stoffers bought the Red Mango in Hicksville, which will open a day after the Clarksville store, on Saturday, July 28, and will host their own free giveaways during the grand opening celebration.
"We were always enjoying Red Mango yogurt and smoothies around town," Kimberly Stoffers was quoted as stating for the press release. "Red Mango truly stands in a class of its own and we are looking forward to serving this refreshing, healthy frozen yogurt now in our Hicksville location."
Locals of the Hicksville area will also get the chance to try out samples of a small yogurt with their choice of toppings for free, and the 100 guest customers to arrive at the store this weekend will get a Red Mango tote bag for free, and other giveaways, said the press release.
In addition, Dan Kim, the founder and chief concept officer of Red Mango will be there to help celebrate this latest opening. "I met Kimberly and Frank as patrons back in 2010 at a Red Mango grand opening in New York and now seeing them open their second Red Mango is very exciting," Kim said for the press release.
