Sandwich chain Quiznos named Stuart K. Mathis as its new president and chief executive, succeeding Greg MacDonald, e ffective July 30, the company said in a statement.
The company also said Wednesday it has named Susan Lintonsmith as its new chief marketing officer. Mathis succeeds Greg MacDonald, who was named CEO in 2010. The company said MacDonald has stepped down as president and CEO, effective immediately.
Mathis most recently served as president of United Parcel Service Inc.'s UPS store network, a position he held for 10 years. He has also held executive roles at Mail Boxes Etc., the predecessor brand to the UPS store, and Domino's Pizza.
Mathis has also served as a member of the International Franchise Association's board since 2007.
