Designer Shoe Warehouse announced that they will be opening a new store at 79th St and Broadway in New York City this weekend.
DSW, which is known as a leading brand of discounted footwear from big labeled and designer brands, announced that their new store in Manhattan will open on 2220 Broadway this Saturday, July 21, on the Upper West Side, said a press release issued by DSW Inc. on Thursday. This Designer Shoe Warehouse store will be the third in Manhattan and the second to open in 2012, noted the press release.
"We're very excited to announce the opening of our newest Manhattan store," Mike MacDonald, President and Chief Executive Officer, DSW Inc., stated for the press release. "With thirteen stores in the New York City metro area, we're quickly becoming the store of choice for an increasing number of Shoe Lovers in the Big Apple."
The Designer Shoe Warehouse in Manhattan will be over 26,000 square feet across and will sell well beyond 36,000 shoes for men, women, and children on three floors, noted the press release, as well as accessories like bags and socks. An entire floor will be dedicated just to men's footwear, said the press release.
Designer Shoe Warehouse sells all types of shoes, from sneakers and athletic gear alike, to heels, casual slippers and sandals, fancy wear for parties and weddings, and generally gear for every season of the year and all occasions, said the press release. Designer Shoe Warehouse also has a specific wedding shop that has shoes for the entire bridal party, noted the press release, as well as fancy footwear for special functions.
There will be 337 Designer Shoe Warehouse stores opening once the Manhattan branch makes its debut this weekend, located in 41 states across the nation, said the press release. The store and company also supply footwear for all people at 343 leased locations in the United States, said the press release.
