Target released the list of the 125 to 135 new branches of the electronics store that will be opened in 2013 throughout Canada.
Target Corporation confirmed the list on Thursday, said a press release issued by the company, and selected leasehold interests of sites in Canada operated by Zellers Inc. The opening of the over 125 stores throughout the provinces will begin in spring 2013, around March and April. More store locations set to open in 2014 will be announced later this year.
"Construction has already begun on our first set of stores and we are excited to see the transformation as the Target brand comes to life in Canada," Tony Fisher, president of Target Canada, stated for the press release. "We have stores spanning from coast-to-coast and we can't wait to open our doors in Canada and deliver on our 'Expect More. Pay Less.' brand promise."
