Domino's Pizza announced that it will be advancing its pizza and fast-food pasta services, by bringing them online through a mobile ordering technology via Amazon's Kindle File with the new release of the Domino's Pizza app, exclusively for the Amazon Appstore for Android.
The new app will be the first Android tablet app for Domino's, and its first app for the Amazon Appstore for Android, stated a press release issued by Domino's Pizza, Inc., on Wednesday. Domino's already has an Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPhone Touch app to order food from its chains, as well as one from the general Android app store, noted the press release.
"Technology has become vital at Domino's Pizza, and we're thrilled to bring our ordering experience to Kindle Fire," Russell Weiner, Domino's Pizza chief marketing officer, stated for the press release. "We're always looking for new ways to bring Domino's ordering capabilities to people wherever they are, and the new app for Kindle Fire makes it easy for people to take just a few minutes away from reading a book or watching a movie to order a hot, delicious Domino's pizza."
The Amazon Kindle Fire app will allow for a coupon search, full menu nationwide, a store locator, and the ability to track your pizza order with Domino's exclusive Tracker, listed the press release. The app was created to further reach a new generation of technology-minded consumers, and especially while the Kindle Fire is a hot product in the market.
So far the Domino's iPhone and Android apps have been downloaded over three million times in the United States since they launched, and this easy mobile service, reported and noted in the press release, made up for about eight percent of Domino's overall sales of food products.
In the coming weeks, Domino's will be releasing an update on its Pizza Hero iPad app, said the press release, where consumers can create their own pizza creations by being a Domino's pizza chef.
