CCI, USA Cares Launch Veteran Employment Campaign

Creative Colors, a leader in on-site repair and other services, launched the “Create A Fresh Start” campaign to assist the 130,000 unemployed veterans in finding rewarding careers.

CCI collaborates with USA Cares for the “Create a Fresh Start” campaign. It aims to provide assistance to veterans and their spouses to get a chance to become Certified Service Technicians at CCI locations. One veteran will also be awarded with a free franchise.

“It is an honor to be able to provide job opportunities to deserving military veterans and their spouses as a reward for their service and dedication to our country,” said Terri Sniegolski, CEO of CCI.

According to the chief executive, they have help numerous veterans to find success with CCI, due to the environment in which they can help others.

“We've found that military veterans' personal and professional qualities align perfectly with franchising due to their results-driven nature, discipline to follow a proven system for success and desire to help others, which are all important traits we look for in our technicians and franchisees,” said Sniegolski.

Started on November 11, 2014 and will run through January 2, 2015, CCI and USA Cares encourage veterans, along with their spouses, to apply as CCI technicians as full-time employees and even get the chance to own a franchise. A two-week Certified Technician Training Program at CCI headquarters in Mokena, Illinois, must be completed by each trainee, with the travel expenses covered by USA Cares.

The Certified Technician Program will teach veterans all the key tasks and works of a technician. USA cares will help interested veterans relocate to the nearest CCI franchise.

Military veteran, Jose del Llano, said, “Coming out of the military, I was looking for a career that would allow me the chance to utilize the leadership and interpersonal skills I acquired during my service.”

Llano said that CCI offers a strong support system where veterans can learn from and follow those who have already succeeded.
