As part of Sunday's National Ice Cream Day, Six Flags amusement parks in the United States and Mars Chocolate North America, including its brands of M&M's, Snickers, Dove, Milky Way, and Twix products, will partner up to offer special offers, giveaways, and activities at Six Flags this weekend as part of the celebration.
Among the events and special activities set for July 15 at all Six Flags locations include a rise a scream event, where the first 200 guests who visit any of the 11 Six Flags amusement parks on National Ice Cream Day will get the chance to receive a Mars Ice Cream Rise and Scream Wristband, gaining them special VIP access to some of the rides at the park before it even opens, said a press release issued by Mars Chocolate North America on Monday.
During Mars Ice Cream Social Hour, those who purchase any Mars brand ice cream products at any Six Flags locations between 4:00-5:00pm local time will receive a free Midway Game Voucher that could be used around the park on July 15, said the press release.
The Boston-based Six Flags location will also have an "Adults Only" Dove Ice Cream Truck set up at Six Flags New England in Springfield, Mass., starting at 5:30pm EST, and those over the age of 18 can enjoy a free Dove Ice Cream Bar, as well as several "stress-busting activities," noted the press release, like personal massages, manicures, and live music. The "Adults Only" Dove Ice Cream Truck will make several more stops around the country throughout the month of July, said the press release.
Six Flags set up an Ice Cream FUNDAY sweepstakes on their website, where a lucky fan can win their own Six Flags Ice Cream FUNDAY, where the prizes would include: two admission tickets to any Six Flags theme park in the U.S.; one parking pass; one gold flash pass for two; two single-person meal deals and two souvenir sport bottles; one souvenir photo, 10 midway game vouchers; and two vouchers each valid for a Mars Ice Cream Treat.
