Staples in Canada announced that it will have new set of products and supplies for the upcoming back-to-school season this summer, including electronics and school supplies.
Staples will have their own BETTER Binders collection for students, as well as mix and match notebooks and pencil pouches, ranging from prices from $1.00 to $8.79 with notable themes like Sugar Rush with candy-colored hues and Graphic Fantastic featuring the retro1980s science-fiction era, said a press release issued by Staples Canada on Tuesday.
"Canadian families are looking forward to the back-to-school season and want school supplies that add a fun, creative touch at a great value," Steve Matyas, president, Staples Canada, was quoted as stating for the press release. "Staples makes it easy for parents and students to shop and save with the latest technology offerings, exclusive designs and must-have supplies."
Other available items will include school lunch bags like the Built NY sets, priced at $12.98 to $19.98, the patterned Fun lunch bags and personalized water bottles at nearly $10 a pop, noted the press release. An array of backpacks, from high-end brands like Reebok, Puma, Sketchers, and Hollywood will be available from as little as $19.98, as well as themed backpacks for kids who love Superman and Batman, The Beatles, The Who, AC/DC or KISS!, listed the press release.
Crayola will have their on brand of earbuds available for music fans, as well as Disney. The Dudley brand will introduce The Kit, that will include a dry erase marker, dry erase board, calendar, mirror, cork board with thumb tacks and a Dudley combination locker for older students, noted the press release. Dudley will also have locker mats available, and their brand Cyclone Combination Locks at $9.98.
On the electronic and computer side, with the release of Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system, students can upgrade their PCs with Windows 7 to the newest version for $14.99, said the press release. An assortment of USB drives will be available at Staples this summer, as well, with themed designs ranging from The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Looney Tunes, exclusive to Staples, or Lexar's 3 pack 8GB Twist Turn USB, noted the press release.
