Gear up racers, Redlynx platform racing game has new free update available, Game Informer reports. The Finnish video game developer and publisher have recently released a new "Trials Fusion" PC multiplayer beta patch.
According to "Trials Fusion" official website, the free update, available for players who purchased the video racing games on PC, will be able to unlock a key that guarantees access to the multiplayer PC Beta. Luckily, gamers who play with a group of good friends will have more than one key, thus sharing the fun of "Trials Fusion" new enhancements.
"Trials Fusion" PC multiplayer update features a Team mode where group of racer will be allowed to create a team of their own. This self-made team will be able to "combine their progress and work their way up a global leader board."
Additional feature includes name and emblem that can represent and give identity to the "Trials Fusion" gamers' teams. Each group of racers will also be given their own leader board to help them keep track of their progress and to communicate as well.
Team members can compete with each other once the update is installed. Online multiplayer racers which will allow teams to race and compete with other teams are not allowed yet. This online feature will be available once the "Trials Fusion" goes live on early 2015.
The upcoming online multiplayer mode will allow 4-player races on Xbox 360, and 8-player races on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For now, Redlynx team update for "Trials Fusion" is solely for the game's PC edition.
Ubisoft, the game's publisher, said the reason behind the PC-only update gives the developers enough time to address issues that may arise in a speedy manner. "We have an awesome team of developers who have worked insanely hard on this beta, but this IS a beta, so things can go wrong."
"Trials Fusion" publisher, on the other hand, is quick to guarantee that "the team is standing by to start stomping on any bugs that start showing up."
