The fall finale of NBC's the Blacklist has left fans hanging about the real connection between Raymond Reddington (James Spader) and Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone). In fact, it even made things more confusing after the episode revealed that Tom (Ryan Eggold), Liz's estranged husband, are in cahoots with Reddington in keeping track of the female FBI agent. Liz has always been persistent in finding out about the truth in her past. The quest to know about her real life will not get any easier though. In the Blacklist Season 2 Episode 9, the first after an almost two months of hiatus, Liz will find herself in the hands of a someone who is after her memory.
According to the Blacklist Season 2 episode nine spoiler from the Entertainment Weekly, the show's female protagonist will be kidnapped a still unnamed character.
The entertainment website's Natalie Abrams wrote:
"I hear Liz gets kidnapped in an upcoming episode and someone will attempt to extract a particular memory from her-namely, the night of the fire, hence seeing a younger version of Liz. However, digging around in the brain is very dangerous, especially when you find out who's behind it."
So who is this guy that wants to have a close look of Liz's brain? Is it Raymond Reddington? In previous the Blacklist Season 2 episodes, particularly the mid-season finale, shocking revelations had many followers of the show on the edge of their seat. Up to this day, no one know who Raymond Reddington really is and why she picked Liz Keen.
From earlier The Blacklist season one episode, Liz said that he lost his father in a fire accident. She even has a scar on her hand as a remembrance. On the same episode, Red showed off his scar on his back which fans theorized is from a similar fire accident that Liz's family got into. Although Red already denied to Liz is he is her father, it is hard to believe given the times that Red has deceived her, or most the Blacklist followers.
The Blacklist Season 2 Episode 9 will air on February 1.
