The French Press Opens At Cape Coral

| By

European-style bakery cafe, The French Press is now open on a waterfront at Cape Harbour in Cape Coral. The cafe offers fine coffee along with luscious treats.

The cafe is under Hoffman Group Holdings, LLC and operated by Executive Chef Benjamin Voisin and his wife, Valeria, who also opened Fathoms Restaurant & Bar.

The French Press serves a wide variety of fresh-brewed coffee. There are also classic coffee drinks such as espresso, cappuccino, the namesake French press, and along with creative inventions like the Dirty Banana, Snicker Doodle and Filthy Coconut. Fine teas and smoothies are also offered that go well with bagels, croissant and other breakfast menu.

The popularity of "grab-and-go" coffee became the reason for many to stay in the cafe rather than take-away. Customers have enjoyed the new mindset at The French Press of brewing roasted coffee expertly, making fresh pastry, serving gourmet breakfast and lunch being served, and dishing out variety flavor of decadent as well as homemade gelato.

The cafe will not be complete without their wide-array of made-to-order crepes that are served in savory and sweet versions from Nutella, strawberry and dulce de leche, to classic ham and cheese, veggie and the Norwegian. Ingredients that are used in crepes, gelato, smoothies and other restaurant's specialty comes from local growers that arrive every day at The French Press.

The wide selection of baked pastry that varies on a daily basis includes bread, muffins, pies and cookies. The remains that aren't sold on that given day are donated to a local charity.

Currently, The French Press is making a calendar of events, including performances by local singer-songwriters, book readings, stand-up comedy at the Harbour View Gallery.

Located at 5789 Cape Harbour Drive #101 in Cape Coral, The French Press is open seven days a week from 7 a.m to 10 p.m.
