In the Flash series by The CW Network, you will find a lot of characters donning masks or cruising Central City in different forms. Of course, there is Grant Gustin's Barry Allen. Then there's Greg Finley's Girder (who just died) and Gorilla Grodd who has appeared once and will appear some time in the next the Flash episodes. Firestorm (Robbie Amell) covered with flames and all is also expected to arrive. Actors who portrayed these characters are easily recognized since they were shown in their appearance before they became meta humans. In the last episode titled Power Outage, there's another character that appeared and it was played by someone that will definitely surprise you.
The Flash's seventh episode featured Gideon, the confidante of Tom Cavanagh's Dr. Harrison Wells. The voice behind the super computer assisted the S.T.A.R. Labs honcho in finding the details in Barry's power. If in the comics Gideon is male, the CW Network series, she is a woman and she is voiced by one of the best actresses in the television. She is none other than Morena Baccarin of Homeland, Firefly, and the Mentalist.

"TVLine has confirmed that Morena Baccarin - whose previous voice work includes such DC Comics characters as Dinah Lance (in the animated Justice League series), Talia al Ghul (Son of Batman) and Cheetah (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) - is voicing S.T.A.R. Labs honcho Dr. Harrison Wells' AI assistant/confidante."
Will this be the last that audiences will see, err, hear, Morena Baccarin in the Flash? Fans have some crazy theories regarding the Gideon's appearance in the last episode. Some even think that Baccarin's character in the show might come to life and become Dr. Wells' love interest since he allegedly patterned her voice from her wife. This theory is logical. Well, hopefully the next the Flash series spoiler will be something likes this.
Morena Baccarin will also appear in another DC Comics-based work, Fox's Gotham but there, you will see her in the flesh. She will play Dr. Leslie Thompkins and will be the new love interest of Ben McKenzie's Jim Gordon.
