Get ready LOL players, "League of Legend" is up for a new 4.20 patch which will feature great boosts of "Strategic Diversity." Riot said the new update, which will be the first of the 2015 pre-season, is "one of the biggest updates" for the MOBA to date.
Addressing the "Summoners," Riot Games said "League of Legends" 4.20 update brings new and huge set of improvements and changes to the hit free MOBA video game. Amid the big enhancements, the American video game publisher said the main concept of the patch is "Strategic Diversity."
"The big theme of the 2015 preseason is Strategic Diversity'. Our high level philosophy is we want to offer you more paths to victory so that your in-game decisions matter just as much as the champions you pick," the game publisher explained.
Riot Games admitted it is lack of proper systems that would support diverse tactical strategies as well as personal techniques. To allow individual gamers to win the "League of Legends" games, the MOBA game publisher made major changes in the hit online game.
"This year, rather than trying to 'fix' tactical problems from the previous season, we're instead introducing a metric tonne of changes to map-wide objectives, a complete rehaul of the jungle and jungle itemization, and a number of strategic item additions / modifications," Riot said in its post.
With the new tasks and mission maps, enhancements in jungle items or even monsters, and modifications of existing play items, Riot Games expects a good deal of imbalance but they are quick to refute thoughts that these update will put serious glitch in the entire "League of Legends" game.
"League of Legends" publisher also promised the ambitious patch is just the beginning of more game enhancements for the hit online MOBA game.
"It's also worth noting that this is just the beginning. There are... a lot of changes here and, with so many variables at play, we're expecting the game to be disrupted, imperfect, and requiring even more work over time."
