The Flash, Arrow To Be Joined By Supergirl On Their Existing Universe? CW Network And CBS Reportedly Started Talks

| By

The Flash Arrow crossover episodes are set to take place next week, probably one of the biggest events in CW Network this year. It is rare to see two shows come together for an episode and the Flash and Arrow will do it twice. The first episode, to be called "Flash vs Arrow," will see Grant Gustin's Barry Allen and Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen investigate a villain named Ray Bivolo (Paul Anthony). The next episode will be called "The Brave and the Bold" and will air one night after the Flash episode.

The Flash Arrow crossover episodes will feature two of the hottest DC Comics superheroes right now. What about adding one more? Like CBS' new series Supergirl?

Alright, you are probably thinking that Supergirl cannot join The Flash and Arrow because her own show will be produced by another network, CBS. However, according to people from CW Network, that won't be a roadblock. In fact, a meeting has already been held between Flash and Arrow producer Greg Berlanti, CBS' Ali Adler and Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood. Berlanti will also stand as the producer of the new CBS superhero show. According to KsiteTV, the involved parties discussed the idea of bringing Supergirl to Starling City or Central City.

KsiteTV wrote:

"Later in the afternoon at his other office on the Warner Bros. lot, Berlanti meets with fellow producer Ali Adler and Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood to go over looks for their upcoming revamp of Supergirl. The show will follow 24-year-old Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, and with a twist that that could melt fanboy brains, Berlanti says it's possible this Supergirl could enter the worlds of Arrow and The Flash."

There's not much detail yet on the Supergirl TV series but one thing for sure though is that it would be awesome to see her joining The Flash and Arrow battling super villains. What do you think?
