The Flash Arrow Crossover Episodes Could Pave Way For Superpowers In Oliver Queen's World Says EP Andrew Kreisberg

The anticipation of the Flash Arrow crossover episodes is probably getting more intense each week. But how great are these episodes? Well, it is so good it made executive producer Andrew Kreisberg change his mind about something on Arrow that he refuses to entertain despite fans' cry.

At the wake of the announcement that the Flash and Arrow will cross paths in each show's ongoing seasons, fans wondered if there will be a chance that Arrow will fight some super humans.

"With 'The Flash' in existence, there's no real compelling reason for us to do superpowers on 'Arrow,' because we can bring characters to 'Flash' to have superpowers," Kreisberg said back in September during an interview with CBR Executive Producer Jonah Weiland's talk radio show.

Now, after almost two months, it seems that Kreisberg's stance on "No Meta Humans in Arrow" policy has softened. After wrapping up filming of the epic Flash Arrow crossover episodes, looks like the EP now contemplate the idea of bringing out of this world villains in Starling City.

"What's fun about episode 8 for Arrow is it proved to me, as a writer and a producer, hey, you know what? You can do metahumans on Arrow without feeling like the show is changing its tone too much," Kreisberg said according to Hypable.

Right now, the only character in Arrow with known super powers is Brandon Routh's Roy Palmer a.k.a. Atom. However, the show has no plans to introduce him as the shrinking superhero. He is also not included in the Flash Arrow crossover episodes.

The Flash Arrow crossover episodes will air on December 2 and 3. The episode that the Flash will air is titled "Flash vs Arrow" and will see Grant Gustin's Barry Allen and Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen figure in a fight while chasing a villain named Ray Bivolo. On the second one in Arrow, called "The Brave and the Bold," Oliver will ask for assistance from Barry's team from STAR Labs to bring down Captain Boomerang who appeared in the last minutes of Arrow Season 3 Episode Draw Back Your Bow.
