Arby's Restaurant Group launched a new restaurant design in White House, Tenn. showing a multi-year commitment in remodeling and constructing new restaurants. They came up with the plan a few months ago when the company plans to remodel activity by 2015 and up to following years.
The design called as Inspire shows a fast casual aesthetics while engaging in QSR economics. It features a contemporary look and improved guest experience. Improved aesthetics have boosted the operational productivity of the new restaurant layout.
Arby's new design features an end-cap with a drive-thru that recently open, a stand-alone format that can accommodate smaller footprints, in-line restaurants. It's well-suited to any shopping center as well as convenience store locations.
Paul Brown, Chief Executive Officer, Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc., said, "Arby's continues to experience a wave of momentum that has grown throughout the year with a renewed commitment to innovative products, our service culture and the introduction of a new marketing campaign."
Brown said that they're excited with the range of formats since it enables them to be more flexible in reaching new guests and entering more "urban environments."
"We will be increasingly focused on growth and development next year with the expectation to build or remodel more than 200 restaurants as a system. We could not be more pleased with the Inspire design and our 'menu of venues,' as they represent the new direction for the Brand," said Brown.
They launched a new design with a drive-thru on Monday and received a positive response. It features a fresh new color palette, along with communal table with contemporary lighting. For the next few months, Arby's will add two additional restaurant formats.
ARG President & Chief Operating Officer, George Condos, said, "Our plan is to kick-start growth through the addition of these new restaurant formats."
"In addition to providing a better guest experience, the new restaurant formats will incorporate innovative operational elements to improve efficiencies with a revamped production line," said Condos.
Arby's was known to be the first nationally franchised sandwich chain that opened in 1964. It now has 3,400 restaurants globally.
