"The online ordering tool and Grab N' Go concepts not only offer guests a chance to pick up a flavorful meal on the go, but they also serve as a valuable revenue stream for our franchisees," said Alan Wright, Vice President of Franchise Operations and Marketing.

"Newk's delivers some of the highest unit-level economics in the industry, and we expect the efficiency of our rapid-order programs to further contribute to the restaurants' bottom line value while enhancing our guests' experience."

Meanwhile, developers of the program tweaked the web site to be user friendly, including a "group order" feature to make orders for the entire office as simple as ordering lunch for a single person.

"We have uncompromising standards for quality and service in every guest experience, including our ordering technologies," said Adam Karveller, Newk's Director of Information Technology.

"Our web-based ordering platform has paved the way for future growth in Newk's technical offerings, including mobile apps that would allow guests to more quickly and easily place orders through Apple and Android devices," Karveller added.

Newk's has been in the business for 10 years now and has remained be one of the most rapidly expanding fast casual restaurant chains in the country. The company now has 72 locations spanning 14 different states and plans to open 12 additional stores coming March 2015 and was included in Technomic's list of the Top 50 fast casual chains nationwide.
