Zippy Shell will support the Wreaths Across America program this holiday season.
The Maine-based charity works on putting wreaths at the Veteran's cemeteries as well as monuments in different places in the United States. Laying wreaths at the Arlington National Cemetery this coming holiday season is considered to be one of their most ambitious projects.
Zippy Shell pledges that they will sponsor a wreath for a fallen hero for every customer that will book in any of their participating locations. The program started on November 15 and continues until Christmas.
Wreaths Across America wants to teach every community to remember fallen heroes. They do this through supporting the troops that are helping and training youth on the value of self sacrifice by veterans along with their families for the sake of freedom.
The company has a goal of sponsoring 500 wreaths this holiday season. The team is keen to support the organization and to see the changes that it will make in communities across the country. Over 25,000 volunteers are set to meet on December 13 at the Arlington National Cemetery and lay wreaths at the gravesites intended for the fallen heroes.
Rick Del Sontro, CEO of Zippy Shell USA, said, "We have great respect for our military and always want to remember those fallen and active service members. It's an honor for us to help out in a small way."
