Tone Body Washes announced that it teamed up with country singer Kellie Pickler this summer to promote their new Fruit Peel Body Wash, as well as the musician's summer tour for her current album, "100 Proof."
The two-part promotion will be a part of the Tone Turn it Up! Series, and will also provide access to Pickler during her tour, via her official Facebook and personal blog. Tone also set up a contest where a lucky fan can win a grand prize trip to Nashville to meet Pickler, all expenses paid, said a press release issued by Tone's parent company, Henkel, on Tuesday.
"As a fan of the product, I am excited to partner with Tone® Body Wash. The Tone® Turn it Up! series is a great way for me to connect with my fans nationwide and invite them along on my tour. I also can't wait to let them in on a few ways I turn it up before I hit the stage," shares Pickler for the press release.
Fans of Pickler and Tone Skin Care users can engaged in the singer's tour by logging into the brand's official Facebook page, which will contain video content with the singer, photos of Pickler on tour, and a chance to take part in a live chat with her as part of the Turn it Up! Web series. Information on how to take part in the contest to win the trip to Nashville will also be available on Tone's Facebook, said the press release.
The new body wash, which contains alpha-hydroxy fruit acids, will come in an 18-ounce bottle for a suggested retail price of $3.99. The new body wash also contains a mixture of citrus, kiwi and apple essence, said the press release, to allow to wash away rough and dull skin to bring out a "natural glow."
